2019 Alumni Scholarship Recipient

One $2,000 scholarship is awarded each year to a student who traveled as a junior or senior on an Xperitas Language Immersion Program. Students are nominated by their teacher.
Alumni Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be nominated by a teacher
  • Participation in current program year as a junior or senior
  • Displays outstanding leadership
  • Excellent academic standing
  • Involvement in school and community life
  • Plans to continue studying foreign language or global studies in college

Nomination letters for 2023 must be postmarked by Friday, September 16, 2023. Nominees must postmark their application materials by November 15, 2023. A special committee will review all applications and will decide the recipient no later than January 31. Xperitas will notify the scholarship recipient the first week of February. All candidates will be sent a letter announcing the winner. 

Scholarship award will be made payable to the college or university. (Payments will be made to the school, not the applicant.)

2019 Xperitas Alumni Scholarship Winner

One of the highlights of our annual Global Leaders Conference is announcing the recipient of our Xperitas Alumni Scholarship. This January, we were pleased to announce that we have selected Daniel Brand, of University Lake School in Hartland, Wisconsin, as the winner of the 2019 Xperitas Alumni Scholarship.

2018 Alumni Scholarship Winner

We are pleased to announce the winner of our 2018 Xperitas Alumni Scholarship: Lily Hauptman of Ladue Horton Watkins High School in Saint Louis, Missouri.

2017 Alumni Scholarship Winner

Cara Meyer was the recipient of our 2017 Alumni Scholarship. Cara traveled to France and Germany with Xperitas in 2016. Recently, we caught up with Cara, who reflected fondly upon what her Xperitas program, and the scholarship, has meant for her future.
