Explore Madrid’s plazas and museums before your excursion to Segovia where breathtaking views from the Alcázar await. In Sevilla, stroll the Guadalquivir and climb La Giralda. See Granada and the awe-inspiring Alhambra. Then, Spanish language skills learned in the classroom come to life in this in-depth language immersion experience. Students enjoy six days of la vida española with their host family. Our unforgettable Family Stay Experience® allows students to become temporary locals and appreciate the Spanish way of life before returning to Madrid. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Begin exploring the city on foot. See Old Madrid with its delightful plazas and sparkling fountains at every turn. Master the Metro de Madrid. Enjoy an Xperitas welcome dinner.

Day 3Madrid
Visit the splendid Palacio Real and the treasures of the world-renowned Museo del Prado. Later, relax at an outdoor café in the Plaza Mayor.

Day 4Madrid
Enjoy an all-day excursion to Segovia. Explore all this truly historic city has to offer, including the massive, 2,000-year-old Roman aqueducts and the Alcázar. Visit el Monasterio de El Escorial en route.

Day 5 - 6Sevilla
En route to Sevilla, stop in Toledo to visit the massive cathedral. You’ll arrive in Sevilla in time for an evening promenade along the Guadalquivir River. Spend the next day visiting the Barrio de Santa Cruz and the Reales Alcázares. Be sure to climb La Giralda.

At last you're off to Granada for a guided tour of the Alhambra and El Generalife, with its fountain-filled gardens. Attend a flamenco show for a colorful evening of music and dance in the caves above the city.

Now the real adventure begins! Make your way to the family stay community where students will spend the next six days and nights with a Spanish family!
