Community Partnership Program Prices
All pricing and payment information is for our publicly listed Community Partnership Programs. Please contact us for custom pricing inquiries, and review our cancellation policies before submiting an application.
Community Partnership Programs inclusions:
- Short-term travel insurance for international and domestic destinations with coverage of trip cancellation due to medical reasons, accidents, and medical evacuation for all participants and leaders
- Liability insurance for leaders
- Pre-departure orientation facilitated by Xperitas staff
- Online portal with pre-departure materials
- All lodging, transportation, and meals as listed on itinerary
- A financial contribution to the community project
- Trained Xperitas Team Leader for duration of travel who will coordinate logistics and facilitate daily group reflection sessions and individual written reflection in a shared journal
- Re-entry materials to continue learning at home
- Optional: Group airfare (for groups of 10 or more participants) may be included
Early Bird Discount
Participants who register for a program at least 6 months prior to departure date are eligible for a $200 credit for international programs or a $100 credit for domestic programs (within the United States), which will be deducted from the program price at the time of final billing.
Family Member Discount
Any fully paying participant who has an immediate* family member also registered as a fully paying participant on an Xperitas Community Partnership Program is eligible for a credit of $100 per family member. Leaders are ineligible.
*living in the same household, e.g. siblings, parents

Many airlines charge $20-$50 each way for the first checked bag. Fees vary depending on the airline and destination and may not apply to international travel. Additional fees based on size, weight and additional pieces of baggage may apply. These fees must be paid by the passenger at check-in. Please check airline websites for the most current baggage fee policies.
Please note that activities, excursions, meals, etc., not listed on the itinerary are not covered by the program price. In some cases, optional activities can be arranged by Xperitas for the whole group. Costs for optional activities will be added to the program price at final billing or covered by participants during the program.
Accommodations for Community Partnership Programs vary by community, depending on the available lodging. In some cases, special accommodations can be made for individuals with mobility restrictions. Please contact us for more information.
All Xperitas participants must be paid in full by the required deadline to participate. Please adhere to the payment schedule that pertains to your program.
Payments can be made online with a credit card or via ACH transfer on a participant's Xperitas Portal. Instructions are sent with enrollment confirmation. Checks or money orders can be made payable to Xperitas and sent to our office. Write the participant's name, school (if applicable) and destination on each payment. Mailed payments must be postmarked by the payment deadline. Xperitas cannot accept postdated checks. All postdated checks will be returned immediately.
2021 Payment Schedule
180 days or more prior to departure (Early Bird)

A $40 fee will be assessed for deposits and/or applications received after the final enrollment deadline. Late enrollment cannot be guaranteed for all programs; contact us for more information.
Late and missing payments
Payments postmarked after the published deadline incur a $40 fee. Xperitas reserves the right to cancel participants missing a payment two weeks after the deadline. Published cancellation fees will apply.
Checks that are returned to Xperitas unpaid by the bank carry a $40 fee and must be replaced by a cashier’s check or money order that includes this $40 fee. All subsequent payments must be in the form of a cashier’s check or money order.
Based on availability, cancelled participants may re-enroll by submitting any missing payments plus a $40 fee and any applicable changes in airline costs. Payment must be made by cashier’s check or money order.
