Financial Aid

Xperitas provides need-based financial aid to increase access to our programs

Xperitas is a nonprofit organization. Providing financial aid to students is one way we can meet our mission and increase access to our programs.

Financial aid is based on a participant's financial need. Participants whose families have a household income of $50,000 or less are eligible. The minimum award is 10% of the program cost, and the maximum is 50% of the program cost.

Award Amounts

Students and parents can estimate the amount of financial aid for which they are eligible using the chart below.

Household Income Grant amount
$35,000 – $50,000 10-20% of total program cost
$25,000 – $35,000 20-30% of total program cost
$15,000 – $25,000 30-40% of total program cost
$0 – $15,000 40-50% of total program cost

Actual grant amounts will vary depending on the following conditions:

  • the number of applicants who are eligible for financial aid and the amount available in the fund;
  • the number of household dependents.

Application Process

In order to be considered for financial aid, students must be registered on a 2018 Xperitas program and postmark their complete Financial Aid application no later than October 15, 2017.

Grant awards will be calculated and communicated to families on a rolling basis through November.
